Miss Ella Turns One!

This precious girl stole my heart at her one session! She is absolutely one of the most happy babies I have ever met even though she has been through more in her one year of life than many of us face in a lifetime. Ella was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was only 7 months old.

 Just within the last few days the family has received some glorious news, there are currently no active signs of cancer and her tumor is shrinking. I was very happy and honored to do her one year cake smash session. It took her some getting used to, but I think she liked it! One year marks a milestone birthday for any child, I can only imagine what this one has meant to her parents. : )
