One question I am asked at nearly every session we work on is "What do we wear?" And I am always happy to assist in clothing decisions for your family session and I will walk through this with you when you book with JSP.
Today I have listed a few of my favorite clothing stores for children. You can of course shop anywhere ( I know I do!) Some stores make it extra easy for finding clothing items that go well together. The key is coordinate and compliment, do not match. Here are some favorite shops and some ideas on how to coordinate those cutie pie kids of yours for their portraits.
Color is IN! Always in!
1. Make sure your children are comfortable (my oldest hates dresses right now, she will not be in a dress for our portraits this year)
2. Get a proper fit, try on the clothing in advance before the session date in case you need to return or exchange.
3. Ask the kids for input! A happy child equals a happy session!
